Molly Engstrom was born and raised in the small northwestern town of Siren, Wis., and played youth hockey from the ages of six to twelve in nearby Webster.

Sue Pope from Madison has been an “influencer” when it comes to girls’ and women’s hockey long before that term became popular on social media.
Bill Boya dedicated his lifetime to the promotion of hockey in his hometown of Superior and to the state of Wisconsin. He coached youth hockey, ran a hockey shop and served as a WAHA director in the 1950s through the 1970s. He coached the state champion Bantam team in 1961 and the state champion Squirt teams in 1971 and 1972.
