Molly Engstrom was born and raised in the small northwestern town of Siren, Wis., and played youth hockey from the ages of six to twelve in nearby Webster.

Sue Pope from Madison has been an “influencer” when it comes to girls’ and women’s hockey long before that term became popular on social media.
Don Brueckner, a native of Green Bay who passed away in 1973, played hockey in the Green Bay industrial and recreational leagues, and skated for the DePere Red Wings from 1936-40.
Brueckner had an outstanding ability as a leader within the team. Not only was he an excellent skater but also impressed fans and teammates with his play-making techniques. "He was always mentioned as the player of Green Bay before World War II."
