Molly Engstrom was born and raised in the small northwestern town of Siren, Wis., and played youth hockey from the ages of six to twelve in nearby Webster.

Sue Pope from Madison has been an “influencer” when it comes to girls’ and women’s hockey long before that term became popular on social media.
Gilbert Krueger was involved in hockey for over 50 years beginning as a varsity player at the University of Wisconsin in 1927. He was team captain in 1930. He promoted and coached youth hockey in the Neenah-Menasha area following his retirement as a player. He developed an extensive library on hockey aids for coaches and players.
