Molly Engstrom was born and raised in the small northwestern town of Siren, Wis., and played youth hockey from the ages of six to twelve in nearby Webster.

Sue Pope from Madison has been an “influencer” when it comes to girls’ and women’s hockey long before that term became popular on social media.
Henry Uihlein was an active player in the Milwaukee area for over 30 years. He was the founder of the first boys’ summer hockey program in the state and a supporter of the hockey program at Milwaukee Country Day School that eventually became University School of Milwaukee. Uihlein helped organize the Winter Club hockey program and coached their youth teams.
